"Meet the dynamic trio behind CoralBloom Studio! Led by founder Michelle, a scientist-designer with a PhD in botany and microbiology, who collaborates with her mother Ann, a botanical artist, and sister Megan, a conservation ecologist and scientific illustrator. Ann and Megan bring the enchanting details of South Africa's flora and fauna to life in life-sized scientific watercolor artworks, while Michelle transforms them into unique designs and patterns. Together, this close-knit team has developed a signature style that has earned recognition from leading decor, design and lifestyle brands in South Africa and beyond.

 

Their vision is to create functional art products that can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life. They draw their inspiration from their deep connection to nature, which developed during family holidays where they spent time exploring the rock pools, mountains and field surrounding the village of Cape Infanta in the Western Cape. As a team, they are constantly creating and expanding their collection of art and design to celebrate and showcase the exquisite beauty of South Africa's native fauna and flora. Their passion for nature and design fuels their creativity and they bring this energy to every project they take on."
